...to destin to kick off spring break!
we were so excited to be able to stay in uncle blake's condo and invite our cousins along for the trip!
this was the first time for my sister & her family and my family to be at the beach together...such fun! next time we will have to get my brother and his family & grammy along for the ride...
of course, i am already dreaming about being back there in july with brett's family....can't . get . here . soon . enough!!
in typical fashion, we had to hit up our favorite restaurant the first night....the Back Porch!!....where dear grant ate his first oyster....he truly fits right in with the men of this family!
poor audrey wanted crab claws so bad but she is going to have to wait until july....her two front teeth should be in by then!!
bright and early the next morning we were all up....and ready for the beach!

the weather was perfect....warm enough for laying out & playing on the beach....but not the sweltering heat we are use to in july....the water was a bit cool though!

...it was awesome having isabella and payton there....the kids just played & played together...and lisa & i actually got a chance to soak in the rays!
a boy & his shovel....that child dug holes all day....and was in absolute heaven doing so!
though i guess no matter their age, all boys like to dig....
and to prove the water was cold....if she could have crawled on his shoulders she probably would have!

So Cute! I love all the pictures! Audrey and her big glasses and Isabella and her big hat are just to awesome! Your pictures make me wish we could have gone to the beach for spring break. I can't believe Grant tried an oyster! I was like 17 before I even thought about it!
