art show...

....at audrey's school!!

...each year they invite an artist to come and speak to the kids & parents....don stewart was the artist this year....his work is amazing!!...i had actually bought my brother a piece of his work last year for christmas so it was really neat for me to listen to him...

after he spoke we all went outside to enjoy refreshments....pretzels, lemonade & a great friend....

then it was time for our little artists to show us their work!! a piece of pottery and a painting...

audrey wanted me to take a picture of grace's artwork below....she has been amazed by the way grace can draw all year...and i can see why!....such detail for a seven year old...and she drew each child in her class within the picture...wow!

i LOVE all the colors in this one.....and listening to audrey describe to me how she had to mix different colors together to make the ones she wanted....that child loves to paint!
