...to the rainforest!!
daddy helping out...he was able to do that a lot on this field trip...it was very hands on for the kids!

a few weeks ago audrey's class went on a field trip to this neat camp with a "rainforest"....brett tagged along on this trip...audrey was so excited to have her daddy do a school function with her :) usually he always has to be the teacher, that day he got to be the dad!
and thank goodness for great friends for adorable pics....and it also helped that our girls were attached at the hip almost the whole day :)
after their animal cracker snack they made leaf paintings....audrey was quite excited, she loves any type of art!!
they even got to cook their own lunch....roasting hot dogs!...such a neat idea...
looking at these pics i just have to laugh at audrey's *wags* as she calls them....the two little wing curls on either side of her head....apparently it was a bit humid in the rainforest...sweet love that child...perfectly straight hair expect for right around her little round face!

listening so attentively about the rainforest...
though i would love to be there for each and every school trip, program, etc. it is nice to see brett getting some time with his sweet girl too!

Okay, don't know if you'll see this comment since it's on a post you wrote a while ago, but I HAD to comment on Audrey's "wags" (funny!). Ella has them too, and I was determined that she was the only one! Out of curiosity, do you have any tricks for keeping them from "sprouting" out of ponytails, barrettes, etc.? It bugs Ella (and me), even though most times it looks cute.
I don't think that hair will ever grow out!!!!! :)
